Miners Shot Down goes to Marikana
We have always been determined that the first place to show the finished film is in Marikana itself. For this reason, on Monday 17th February, a pre-release special screening will take place in Wonderkop Community Hall, Marikana. It’s not going to be easy, feelings are still so raw, the families have had no justice, and eighteen months on, platinum miners are still fighting for a living wage, this time with a protected strike led by AMCU. It’s going to be an important screening. We’ll keep you posted.
Miners Shot Down gets a cinema release
On 30th May, the film will be released nationwide at Cinema Nouveau.
